Position Title: Traveling Superintendent – Ground-Up Industrial
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
A leading general contractor specializing in ground-up commercial construction projects over $20M+ is seeking a skilled Traveling Superintendent. This is a true road warrior role for a construction professional who thrives in the field, is comfortable with extended travel, and is passionate about delivering high-quality industiral projects from start to finish.
Lead on-site construction operations for large-scale ground-up industrial projects
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients
Manage day-to-day activities to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
Maintain strict safety protocols and enforce compliance at all job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents
Conduct daily site walks, manage punch lists, and oversee quality control
Act as the face of the company on the jobsite, ensuring a professional and efficient build
7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up industrial projects
Proven experience managing projects over $20M+
Strong knowledge of all phases of construction and subcontractor coordination
Comfortable working and traveling extensively for extended project durations
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in construction management software (Procore preferred)
OSHA 30 Certification required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Daily per diem provided
