Staff Accountant (Confidential Luxury Home Builder)

About the Role
You’ll be joining a boutique, award-winning custom home builder known for transforming client visions into reality with craftsmanship, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail. Our team blends architecture, design, and construction seamlessly, guiding clients through the entire building process with transparency and care.
What You’ll Do
Maintain the general ledger and manage full-cycle accounting
Process AP/AR transactions, manage vendor invoices, billing, and expense reconciliation
Take ownership of payroll and related journal entries
Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
Support budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial forecasting
Help streamline financial workflows and documentation
Work collaboratively with the Controller and cross-functional teams to support smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of accounting experience—experience in construction or real estate industry is highly preferred
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in financial record-keeping
Strong communicator who works well in team settings
Customer-service mindset, aligning with a client-focused company culture
