What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, material, and equipment breakdowns

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to determine complete scope of work

  • Manage preconstruction efforts and coordinate closely with internal teams, architects, and subcontractors

  • Solicit and evaluate vendor pricing and subcontractor proposals

  • Maintain cost history, pricing data, and supporting documentation for future project planning

  • Provide value engineering suggestions and alternatives to drive project efficiency

  • Participate in bid strategies and maintain strong knowledge of current market conditions

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably involving concrete, earthwork, or institutional/public projects

  • Strong knowledge of preconstruction processes, materials, and cost structures

  • Proficiency in estimating tools and software (Excel, Bluebeam, OST, or similar)

  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work on multiple estimates under deadlines without sacrificing accuracy

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field is preferred, but not required with sufficient experience
