Responsibilities:

As the Behavioral Healthcare Program Manager, you'll be accountable to the Director of Services. Your role involves overseeing comprehensive trauma-informed Specialty Mental Health Services, managing the Clinic and Drop-in Center staff, and ensuring program adherence to Medi-Cal requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide personnel management (hiring, training, supervision).
  • Coordinate and maintain statistical systems for funding compliance.
  • Monitor program progress in achieving goals, including trauma-informed service delivery.
  • Ensure records meet documentation standards and billing timelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and mandated county training.
  • Manage contract budget line items, including monitoring expenses.
  • Establish and maintain linkage relationships with agencies and community groups.
  • Respond to crises or urgent matters, implementing on-call procedures as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California.
  • Minimum three years of job-related experience, including direct mental health service experience with at-risk children and adolescents.
  • Training in or willingness to be trained in MI, Seeking Safety, TF-CBT, and Family Systems Theory.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and public speaking preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with County Electronic Health Record (Cerner) is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, relevant auto insurance, a clean driving record, valid CA driver’s license, and be willing to drive for job-related tasks.
