Job Type:
Full-Time Shift: We offer 4-Day work week, Monday - Thursday: 4 AM - 2:30 PM and 6 AM - 4:30 PM

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. This hands-on role involves repairing, and maintaining single-hit and progressive stamping dies, as well as other tooling, jigs, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal stamping and precision tooling with the ability to work independently to meet production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
•Set up and operate standard toolroom equipment (e.g., lathes, grinders, mills).
•Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble progressive stamping dies and tooling.
•Fit, align, and assemble tool components with precision to meet dimensional tolerances.
•Perform surface grinding and polishing for flat and contoured parts.
•Troubleshoot and modify dies to improve performance or correct defects.
•Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve material or design issues.
•Maintain documentation and records of tool maintenance and modifications.
•Support and mentor apprentices, as needed.
Qualifications:
•5+ years of hands-on Tool and Die experience in a metal stamping environment.
•Demonstrated experience with progressive dies is highly preferred.
•Accredited Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certificate is a plus.
•Must have own basic tool & die measuring instruments and hand tools.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and metal stamping troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and manuals.
•Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and operating industrial powered lift trucks and 10-ton overhead cranes (certification assistance provided).
