Client Service Manager – Commercial Insurance

Location: Greater Syracuse, In-office

About the Role:

As a seasoned Client Service Manager the successful candidate will lead the day-to-day operations of a 14-member Commercial Client Service team. This position is pivotal to ensuring workflow optimization, maintaining top-tier service standards, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the performance, training, and workflow of the Commercial Client Service team.

  • Monitor workload distribution and refine departmental processes to uphold agency benchmarks.

  • Serve as a mentor and resource for staff, providing guidance on complex accounts and best practices.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Claims teams to reinforce client retention and support business growth strategies.

  • Manage middle-to-large complex accounts across various industries.

  • Utilize EPIC software to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in commercial lines is required. Ideal candidates will have a background as a supervisor, overseeing performance reviews, training, and workflow management.

  • Leadership experience of at least 10 years preferred.

  • Strong ability to foster relationships and maintain service excellence.

  • Passion for maintaining integrity, accountability, and transparency in every interaction.
