A respected and growth-focused grain company is seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales professional to lead customer expansion efforts in the dairy nutrition space across the Northeast. This role is ideal for someone who is both relationship-driven and commercially minded, with deep connections to dairy producers, nutritionists, and industry influencers in the region.

This is a high-impact role with potential for future senior leadership opportunities as the company continues to evolve.

Location: New York (remote based)

Territory: Northeast Region

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and grow relationships with dairy farms, nutritionists, and feed partners across the Northeast

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for dairy feed products, including organic soybean meal

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing technical knowledge, insight, and solutions tailored to their production goals

  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to guide product positioning and growth strategy

  • Collaborate with internal teams across production, logistics, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed

REQUIRED Qualifications:

  • Proven sales or business development experience in the dairy feed, animal nutrition, or livestock/ag supply industries

  • Strong knowledge of dairy production systems, feed quality, and nutrition principles

  • Established network of relationships with dairy producers and/or nutrition consultants in the Northeast

  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently and drive results

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
