Preconstruction Manager in Hallandale Beach

We’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager to join a dynamic commercial construction team in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale, FL area. If you thrive on turning concepts into actionable plans and enjoy collaborating with estimators, architects, and project teams to bring visions to life, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the overall planning and development of new project activities and the activities of all current projects
• Assist in schedule development
• Advise the client and other project team members concerning base building and internal project management. Evaluate and critique the progress of design development, budget, and schedule
• Develop conceptual estimates utilizing market data
• Determine quantities of materials during early stages of the design
• Develop scopes of work for all project related trades

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Construction Management or a related degree is strongly preferred, but extensive work-related experience will be considered
• 10+ Years Project Management and Estimating experience in Commercial Construction
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Proficiency in the Development of Commercial Construction Projects
