About the Opportunity:
gpac, a trusted recruitment partner with over 30 years in the legal industry, is working with a well-established law firm in New Jersey seeking a talented Insurance Law Associate Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join a collaborative and respected team handling a broad range of insurance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent insurance carriers and corporate clients in insurance coverage and litigation matters

  • Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and dispositive motions

  • Conduct legal research and analysis of insurance policies and coverage issues

  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on complex coverage matters

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of insurance law, coverage litigation, or insurance defense experience

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)

  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases

  • Prior experience handling both first-party and third-party coverage matters is a plus
