HIRING : NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT HYBRID– Temperature-Controlled LTL Freight | 3PL & Cold Chain Logistics |

Are you a results-driven logistics professional with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of temperature-sensitive freight? An established and growing third-party logistics provider is seeking a, New business development Professionalto lead customer engagement, drive revenue growth, and manage national accounts — with a core focus on temperature-controlled LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight.

If you have strong sales instincts, a service-first mindset, and proven success in cold chain or refrigerated logistics, this opportunity is for you.

πŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for national customers with temperature-controlled freight needs.
  • Prospect and secure new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Negotiate and prepare freight quotes for LTL temperature-sensitive lanes.
  • Manage end-to-end customer relationships, including order inquiries, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely quoting, strong carrier partnerships, and seamless execution.
  • Monitor national and regional freight trends, especially within the cold chain market.
  • Participate in special projects and departmental strategy discussions.
  • Travel up to 10–15% to support client relationships and business growth.

βœ… Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales and operations within a 3PL or asset-based carrier environment.
  • An existing Book of business in refridgerated or Frozen LTL Freight a very large plus -
  • Prior experience handling temperature-controlled LTL freight is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage or support a book of business valued at $2MM+.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, OneNote) and CRM platforms.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • HS diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
