A well-established and growing company in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site position offering long-term stability, a supportive work environment, and the chance to be a key part of daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close procedures
Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries
Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Work with internal departments to track job/project costs
Help prepare for audits and support compliance activities
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Accounting, preferred
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
