Overview We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
· Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
· Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
· Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
· Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
· Assemble components as required, ensuring proper fit and function.
· Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using forklifts.
· Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Skills
· Proficiency in operating forklifts for materials handling is preferred.
· Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
· Experience with plastics extrusion processes is a plus.
· Ability to fabricate components as needed, demonstrating versatility in manufacturing tasks.
· Competence in using precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
