Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a local family owned agency. This role is designed for an individual with a solid understanding of commercial insurance who is looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial lines, specifically in real estate and transportation in a primarily remote capacity. It will start as hybrid then focus on their southern market remotely.

In this role, you will work closely with the owner to manage mid-large accounts. You’ll play a pivotal role in servicing the existing book of business with variety of coverages as well as enhancing client experiences, strengthening relationships with both clients and insurance carriers, while driving the success of the busiess.

What You’ll Do:

  • Client Relationship Management: Take the reins in managing a select group of high-profile Commercial Lines clients, providing exceptional service and proactive support.
  • Efficiency Expert: Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, increase productivity, and improve departmental operations.
  • Growth Driver: Help meet and exceed agency goals while contributing to a culture of success and performance excellence.
  • Client Experience Champion: Continuously elevate the client service process to ensure an outstanding experience every step of the way.
  • Carrier Relationship Builder: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with insurance carriers to enhance service and coverage options.

Who you are:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Commercial Lines insurance.
  • Licensing: Active Property & Casualty license 
  • Tech sSills: Experience with Applied Epic or AMS 360 is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Collaborative: A team player who thrives in a remote environment, with a demonstrated ability to supports the success of the team. 
  • Problem Solver: Quick-thinking, solution-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Driven and Self-Motivated: Goal-oriented with a passion for success and personal accountability.
