Field Service Technician – Industrial Machinery Company
Seeking a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills and deep experience in industrial equipment and controls. Electrical and mechanical background needed.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex machinery in the field with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using schematics and performance data
Handle customer-reported issues and recommend effective solutions
Coordinate with engineering and parts teams to resolve technical problems
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for internal teams and off-shift support
Provide customer training on equipment operation and maintenance
Contribute to updates for service manuals and technical bulletins based on field experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training
3–10 years of experience with industrial machinery, including at least one major machine brand
Proficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Strong diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
85% travel with overnights and some weekends
