A well-established and rapidly growing dairy manufacturing company with 40+ years in business is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across multiple food production plants just south of Madison, WI.
This position offers strong leadership visibility, hands-on equipment oversight, and team development opportunities. Perfect for candidates with food manufacturing maintenance experience ready to lead or grow into leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage maintenance for facilities
Troubleshoot and repair equipment including conveyors, pumps, ovens, motors
Program and troubleshoot PLC systems
Oversee ammonia refrigeration systems and ensure compliance
Train and mentor maintenance technicians and supervisors
Lead preventive maintenance (PM) efforts to reduce downtime
Qualifications:
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred (certified or hands-on)
Pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge
Welding and robotics preferred
2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
