ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:  The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership and be responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities span a broad spectrum covering all areas of Project Management including, Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Scheduling, and Safety Management. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Chart out the project objectives and plans, set performance requirements, and participate in select project participants
  • Bring about optimum utilization of resources – labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms
  • Implementation of various operations through proper coordination
  • Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants 
  • Must desire to advance into a strategic leadership position.

Job Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Commercial Construction
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field
  • Solid foundation of preconstruction/estimating in addition to project management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of building systems, legal issues, and safety standards
