Tax Manager – CPA | Fully Remote | Boutique UHNW Firm

Our client, a boutique public accounting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual (1040), corporate (1120/1120S), partnership (1065), trust (1041), and nonprofit (990) filings.

  • Oversee multiple client engagements and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.

  • Train, mentor, and review work of staff and senior tax professionals.

  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and develop planning strategies for clients.

  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license (highly preferred).

  • 7+ years of public accounting experience in tax preparation and review.

  • Strong technical knowledge of individual, business, trust, and nonprofit tax forms.

  • Experience managing client relationships and mentoring team members.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
