Job Description

gpac is working with a well-established food manufacturerr that is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician for their facility in the Lacrosse area of Wisconsin.  This is a **hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position** supporting a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation.

The position offers consistent hours, a strong team culture, and the chance to work with advanced automation, robotics, and pasteurization systems. It’s ideal for a mechanically and electrically skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The Ideal Candidate Brings:

- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred)

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment

- Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers

- Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems

- Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings

- Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus

- Commitment to food safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement

- Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently on 6pm–6am shift
