What You’ll Do

As the Hospice Director, RN, you’ll lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering personalized and high-quality hospice care. Your leadership will ensure our program exceeds standards of excellence and reflects our mission of compassionate service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, assigning, and monitoring the work of Hospice staff to ensure top-quality care and performance.
  • Recruiting, hiring, supervising, evaluating, and mentoring nursing and paraprofessional staff to support professional growth.
  • Overseeing staff scheduling for optimal coverage and workflow efficiency.
  • Leading Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings and actively participating in team and facility meetings.
  • Supporting organizational growth by representing the program to the community, healthcare partners, and potential patients.
  • Managing hospice caseloads when needed to maintain seamless patient care.
  • Providing ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives to meet agency and regulatory standards.
  • Keeping hospice staff informed about the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program updates.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; licensed RN in the state of Minnesota (active and in good standing).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hospice RN experience and one (1) year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with a heart for hospice care.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
