Construction Superintendent (Commercial) – CONFIDENTIAL

Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000+ (DOE)

Position Overview

A well-established, financially stable commercial general contractor in the Atlanta market is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Construction Superintendent to support a strong and growing backlog of ground-up commercial projects.

This is a long-term opportunity with a company known for quality execution, strong leadership, and low turnover. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who can take full ownership of jobsite operations and deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through closeout

• Coordinate daily work of subcontractors, field crews, suppliers, and inspectors

• Manage project schedules, sequencing, and look-ahead planning

• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards

• Conduct daily reports, safety meetings, and coordination meetings

• Oversee quality control to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

• Work closely with Project Managers on RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Proactively identify and resolve field issues and schedule impacts

• Maintain positive relationships with clients, inspectors, and trade partners

• Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to spec

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent (commercial)

• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial projects

• Project experience typically ranging from $5M to $50M+

• Strong knowledge of construction means & methods, sequencing, and logistics

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Safety-focused mindset with the ability to enforce jobsite standards

• Proficiency with construction technology and daily reporting tools

Compensation & Benefits
