Territory Seed Representative / Account Manager

We are seeking a motivated Territory Seed Representative / Account Manager to manage and grow our business within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with growers and dealer partners, while also aggressively recruiting new business. The position will focus on both direct-to-grower sales and dealer-based sales, including farmer-dealers and select retail partners.

In addition to our seed portfolio, this role will represent and grow our biological product lineup, positioning integrated solutions that drive value for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory with full ownership of performance

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with:

    • Growers (direct sales)

    • Farmer-dealers and dealer partners

    • Select retail accounts

  • Actively recruit new growers and dealer partners to expand territory footprint

  • Drive sales of seed products and biological solutions through both direct and dealer channels

  • Identify market opportunities, competitive activity, and customer needs within the territory

  • Plan and execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals

  • Provide product education, training, and support to growers and dealers

  • Work closely with internal teams on forecasting, promotions, and product positioning

  • Attend field days, dealer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in agricultural sales, seed sales, or account management

  • Strong understanding of row-crop agriculture and grower decision-making

  • Experience working with dealer networks and direct grower relationships preferred

  • Knowledge of seed and/or biological products is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow market share

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
