The Role
We are seeking a senior-level Aircraft Maintenance Technician with strong turboprop experience to serve as a Floor Lead / Senior Technician. This is a hands-on technical role, not a management position.
Primary focus is King Air maintenance, with additional support across piston aircraft, hangar operations, and line service as needed.
Typical work split:
• 60–80% King Air maintenance
• 20–40% piston aircraft, hangar, and support tasks
Key Responsibilities
• Perform inspections, heavy maintenance, engine changes, hot sections, rigging, and troubleshooting
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for junior technicians
• Support Directors of Maintenance with documentation and work orders
• Ensure compliance with Part 135 and Part 145 maintenance standards
• Assist with onboarding and preparing new aircraft for certificate approval
• Step in where needed—no “that’s not my job” mentality
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 10+ years aircraft maintenance experience
• A&P required; IA strongly preferred
• King Air 350 experience preferred
• Strong turboprop background; piston experience required
• Experience with heavy maintenance, inspections, engine changes, hot sections, rigging, and troubleshooting
• Part 145 experience required
• Strong understanding of maintenance paperwork and work orders
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, single-operator environment
This role is ideal for a senior technician or floor lead who enjoys mentoring others but does not want a management title.
