As an Employee Benefits Producer, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and building long-term client relationships within the Employee Benefits space. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys consultative selling and partnering with clients to deliver tailored benefits solutions.
• Develop and grow a book of Employee Benefits business through new client acquisition and referral relationships.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, identifying needs and recommending comprehensive group benefits solutions.
• Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, marketing strategy, carrier negotiations, presentations, and closing.
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and internal service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to deliver competitive and innovative benefit solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends, compliance requirements, and market changes affecting employee benefits.
• Participate in networking, referral groups, and community events to expand market presence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and pipeline activity within the agency management system and CRM.
• Support retention efforts by assisting with renewals, strategy discussions, and client reviews as needed.
• Uphold a consultative, client-first approach focused on long-term relationships and sustainable growth.
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
• 3+ years of experience in Employee Benefits sales, production, or a related insurance role.
• Active MA Life & Health License.
• Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
• Proven track record of new business development and revenue generation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Comfort working with agency management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
