Packaging Supervisor – Manufacturing

A stable, well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead day-to-day packaging operations at its primary facility. This is a hands-on leadership role on the production floor, ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys leading people, running equipment, and keeping operations moving efficiently.
This is not a desk job and not a temporary role. The company is looking for someone they can rely on long term.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise and support a team of 5–10 employees on the packaging floor
Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
Operate and monitor packaging equipment including scales, baggers, sealers, palletizers, and conveyors
Ensure accurate product weights, labeling, and coding
Follow daily production and packaging schedules
Verify metal detection and HACCP procedures
Enforce safety standards and proper equipment operation
Partner with production leadership to keep workflow running smoothly
What They’re Looking For:
Manufacturing experience (packaging, production, or similar environments)
Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to lead by example
Comfortable working in a fast-paced plant environment
Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to be trained)
