Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Controller

A high-growth community bank is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner directly with the President in executing a long-term growth strategy targeting $1B in assets within 10 years. This is a hands-on, executive-level role for a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as strategic financial advisor to the President

  • Provide daily oversight of financial performance, liquidity, and capital

  • Lead financial modeling, forecasting, and stress testing

  • Oversee liquidity strategy, including loans, lines, and FHLB programs

  • Ensure execution of liquidity and financial policies

  • Train and elevate the current finance team

  • Lead the hiring of a Controller replacement

Ideal Background

  • Senior financial leadership experience in banking

  • Strong knowledge of liquidity, capital, and bank modeling

  • Proven team-builder and clear communicator
