What You’ll Do

As an Operations Manager, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers

  • Match freight with capacity to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery

  • Negotiate rates and manage customer and carrier contracts

  • Coordinate driver assignments, dispatching, and driver pay

  • Perform yard checks, track chassis, manage empty returns, and ensure port cutoff compliance

What We’re Looking For

Driven, Experienced, and Relationship-Focused

  • 2+ years of container/drayage freight experience

  • Existing customer and/or carrier relationships

  • Port experience, specifically Port of Houston (HOU)

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-motivation

  • Proven ability to manage both carrier and customer relationships
