Qualifications for Safety Director:
MEP Construction projects background with confidence in maintaining safety from start to finish
9+ years experience in commercial / MEP construction as acting Safety Manager, Director, officer needed
Ability to Site Safety concerns on the job, maintain safe work practices and coordinate with various agencies for reporting and compliance with project documents and specification
Responsible for company wide safety culture so will need self motivation, wont be micromanaged
Manage Accident Prevention Program and update codes and regulations as needed, looking for those that are the "difference makers"
Computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs
Knowledge of MEP construction and has CHST, CSP or OSHA 500/501 or prior experience a plus Train the trainer certifications in Forklift, Aerial Lift, and Scissors Lift
