Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with at least 5 years of hands-on litigation experience in personal injury, bad faith to join our dynamic law firm located in downtown Miami. This position focuses on both personal injury and bad faith insurance litigation, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to support attorneys through every stage of litigation, including trial.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full litigation support on personal injury and bad faith matters, including drafting, filing, and managing pleadings, motions, discovery, and appellate briefs.
  • Maintain accurate calendaring for state, federal, and appellate deadlines in both personal injury and bad faith cases.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation from inception through trial, including trial binders, witness prep, exhibits, and courtroom support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors in personal injury and bad faith litigation.
  • Organize case files, maintain deadlines, and ensure documents are accurate, timely, and compliant with all applicable rules.
  • Support attorneys with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation in personal injury and bad faith cases.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal, with additional experience in bad faith insurance litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of state, federal, and appellate court rules, with proven calendaring experience.
  • Must have litigation experience from case inception through trial (trial experience preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills, superior grammar, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
  • Only candidates with no more than three jobs in the past 10 years will be considered.
