Job Title: Senior Tax Manager (Partner Track)

Location: Kansas, City

Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually + 401(k), health benefits

A highly regarded firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their team and step into a key leadership role. This opening comes as the current Director is retiring, creating a rare opportunity for the right professional to step into a high-impact position with a clear path to Partnership in 2–3 years.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage tax engagements for a diverse client base

  • Oversee compliance, reporting, and tax planning activities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while developing new business opportunities

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff within the tax division

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive growth and firm strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • CPA required

  • Proven experience as a Sr. Tax Manager (public accounting background preferred)

  • Strong technical tax knowledge and client advisory skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build clientele and grow business

  • Ambition to move into a Partner role within 2–3 years

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $130,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience)
