What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll own all aspects of HR strategy and daily operations, from building systems that support our people to ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. You’ll also have the opportunity to modernize programs, mentor leaders, and make a meaningful impact across the business.
- Lead and manage all HR functions, including policy development, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Build and implement comprehensive employee management systems covering coaching, training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Partner with leadership to strengthen bench strength, promote career development, and drive a high-performance culture.
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, compensation, and benefits programs—ensuring competitiveness, fairness, and compliance.
- Administer payroll systems, manage HR vendors, and maintain accurate records.
- Serve as the primary contact for employment law and compliance matters, including EEOC, FMLA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and oversee Workers’ Compensation and safety training programs.
- Lead investigations, manage unemployment claims, and ensure consistent and fair outcomes.
- Support ISO 9001 certification processes by creating and training on compliant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve systems, communication, and employee engagement.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly desired.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Kentucky employment law and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams while balancing strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS or ERP systems.
