Project Manager – Tank & Tower Fabrication / Erection

A growing tank and tower fabricator/erector is seeking a Project Manager to lead industrial projects from award through completion. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in fabrication, field erection, and client coordination within tank, vessel, or tower construction.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while working closely with shop teams, field crews, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from contract award through close-out
  • Maintain schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
  • Coordinate with fabrication shop, field teams, and engineering
  • Lead meetings and maintain client communication
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Monitor jobsite progress, safety, quality, and logistics
  • Review vendor and subcontractor pricing
  • Support project close-out and documentation

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of project management experience in tank, vessel, tower, or industrial construction
  • Understanding of fabrication and field erection processes
  • Ability to read drawings, specs, and contracts
  • Experience with scheduling, cost control, and change management
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management software

Preferred

  • Experience with storage tanks, pressure vessels, or towers
  • Background with a fabricator or erector
  • Familiarity with API, AWWA, or similar standards

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000 – $90,000 DOE
