Business Development Representative – Commercial Waste Sector

Houston & Surrounding Areas

We’re looking for a hunter-minded outside sales professional to grow commercial and industrial accounts across the Houston market. This is a true business development role where your success is driven by your ability to prospect, connect, and close — with strong operational support behind you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the Houston area

  • Meeting prospects face-to-face to present solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals

  • Building a book of business with long-term revenue potential

  • Partnering with pricing and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding

  • Tracking activity, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience in a new-business (hunter) role

  • Experience in outside sales-waste services is a must.

  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently

  • Willingness to travel locally within a 3-hour Houston radius
