About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a reputable defense firm actively seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join their growing Workers’ Compensation practice. This is a great opportunity for a recent law graduate or early-career attorney looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, litigation-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Support attorneys on workers’ compensation defense matters from intake through resolution

  • Draft legal documents including discovery, motions, and correspondence

  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations (with support)

  • Manage case files, client communication, and status updates

  • Develop strong litigation and case management skills under mentorship from experienced partners  

 What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Licensed to practice in Virginia (or will be licensed shortly)

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to fast-paced litigation environments

  • Prior internship or clerkship experience in litigation, insurance, or workers’ comp is a plus
