About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a reputable defense firm actively seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join their growing Workers’ Compensation practice. This is a great opportunity for a recent law graduate or early-career attorney looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, litigation-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Support attorneys on workers’ compensation defense matters from intake through resolution
Draft legal documents including discovery, motions, and correspondence
Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations (with support)
Manage case files, client communication, and status updates
What We're Looking For
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in Virginia (or will be licensed shortly)
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to fast-paced litigation environments
Prior internship or clerkship experience in litigation, insurance, or workers’ comp is a plus
