Gpac is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager – Pet Specialty to join our client’s West Los Angeles, CA office. This office-based role is with a leading premium pet food manufacturer, known worldwide for its high-quality, nutrient-rich, and human-grade products.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow senior-level relationships with national/regional retailers and distributors
Develop sales strategies to expand distribution and increase market share
Negotiate contracts, pricing, promotions, and terms with key accounts
Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
Drive accurate forecasting, inventory planning, and business planning
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to align initiatives
Lead business reviews and client engagement strategies
Mentor junior account managers
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus)
5–7+ years of key account management experience in pet food or CPG
Proven history of growing large accounts and achieving revenue goals
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
Experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
Willing to travel frequently
