Position Summary
The Client Manager/Business Development Leader runs engineering projects from concept through construction, ensuring client needs, quality standards, schedules, and budgets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact between clients and project teams.
- Build client relationships and support business development efforts.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations.
- Identify scope changes and coordinate change orders.
- Prepare proposals, scopes, fees, schedules, and contracts.
- Support client meetings, project onboarding, and presentations.
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Support client retention and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and professional organizations.
- Mentor engineering staff and review/sign plans as authorized.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Valid Colorado PE license.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and client management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Business development experience preferred.
