🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed construction budgets by reviewing plans and updating specifications
Identify and accurately project material, labor, and overall construction costs
Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from vendors and subcontractors
Perform scope, quantity, and unit cost reconciliations
Support project managers in preparing and maintaining accurate budgets and timelines
Draft and manage construction contracts; secure permits and assess risk
Ensure project quality and compliance through regular communication and oversight
Monitor active projects to confirm alignment with budget and schedule
✅ Requirements:
5+ years of residential construction estimating experience
Proven ability to manage detailed budgets, scope, and cost forecasting
Preferred experience with custom options, vendor coordination, value engineering, variance requests, and detailed pricing
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
