Senior Tax Associate (Hybrid) 

About the Role: 

A well-established, family-owned accounting firm offering full services continues to grow. As a medium-sized firm, this company is known for its collaborative, flexible environment and strong New England roots. We're seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing team. Location: Essex County, MA | Hybrid Work Model

Compensation: $70k-$85k

What you Do:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns: 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041
• Review monthly financial statements
• Work with small business clients ($1M–$5M in revenue) across ~36 states (core in New England)
• Support a fully paperless workflow: TaxCaddy → SurePrep → UltraTax
• Collaborate with outsourced staff and contribute to team development
• Engage in tax planning conversations as needed

What you Need:

• 3+ years of public accounting experience in tax
• Experience using UltraTax and SurePrep
• CPA or EA license (or active progress toward one)
• Familiarity with multi-state filings
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Interest in being part of a close-knit, growing firm
