Job Title: Alternative Delivery Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: Starting at $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects using alternative and collaborative delivery methods, such as CM/GC, CMAR, Design-Build, or Progressive Design-Build. The ideal candidate will manage projects from preconstruction through execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with owner expectations and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of projects during preconstruction and General Contractor phases, including execution, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Collaborate with owners to ensure project vision, scope, and budget are aligned and implemented.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, work packages, and equipment resources.

  • Review contracts and documentation for completeness and address discrepancies.

  • Oversee change orders, cost forecasts, and revenue reporting.

  • Serve as primary contact for owners, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.

  • Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety programs and meetings.

  • Support alternative delivery project pursuits and proposal development.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of construction project management experience.

  • 5+ years managing personnel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Experience in CM/GC or heavy civil construction preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or similar) preferred.

  • Ability to interpret technical documents, contracts, and financial reports, and present complex information to stakeholders.
