M&A/Finance Associate Attorney

We're looking for a talented and motivated M&A/Finance Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. If you have a passion for complex transactions and a desire to work in a collaborative, hybrid environment, we encourage you to apply!

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our M&A and finance practice, advising clients on a wide range of sophisticated transactions. You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse clients and gain invaluable experience in a supportive firm culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, loan agreements, and other related ancillary documents.
  • Conducting and managing due diligence processes.
  • Assisting with all aspects of M&A transactions from initial structuring through closing.
  • Advising clients on corporate governance matters and general corporate law.
  • Collaborating closely with partners and other associates on complex legal issues.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least 3 years of experience practicing M&A and/or finance law at a law firm.
  • Active membership in good standing with a State Bar.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • While not required, graduation from a top law school is a plus.
