Commercial Roofing Estimator

Premier Contractor. Premier Projects. Premier Estimators.

A premier commercial roofing contractor is expanding its team and looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator who is ready to join an organization known for quality, professionalism, and excellence.

This is an opportunity for a Commercial Roofing Estimator who understands that successful estimating is about much more than putting numbers on a proposal. You need to understand commercial roofing systems, scope the work accurately, identify potential issues, and develop competitive, profitable estimates that set the production team up for success.

What You'll Do

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for commercial roofing projects.
• Estimate both new construction and reroofing projects.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and project requirements.
• Perform roof inspections and develop comprehensive scopes of work.
• Analyze labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor requirements, and project costs.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and project management throughout the estimating process.
• Identify potential risks, exclusions, and opportunities before projects are awarded.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting bid deadlines.
• Build strong relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

What We're Looking For

The ideal Commercial Roofing Estimator will bring:

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• At least 5 years of experience estimating both new construction and reroofing projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Experience reading architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A track record of producing accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a high-performing team.
• Experience with EDGE estimating software is desirable but not required.
