Commercial Construction Project Executive
Position Summary
The Project Executive provides senior-level leadership and oversight for commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for project financial performance, schedule, quality, safety, client satisfaction, and overall team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple commercial construction projects and project teams.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, forecasting, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in preconstruction, procurement, project execution, and closeout.
- Identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and contractual issues.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members.
- Support business development, client pursuits, and opportunities for repeat business.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Previous experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, contracts, scheduling, and financial management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
