Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support and manage technical aspects of heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with either marine construction or heavy bridge/concrete structures experience. This is a full-time travel role with per diem and a rotating schedule that allows for periodic visits home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost management

  • Provide field engineering support and resolve technical issues on-site

  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

  • Prepare reports, documentation, and progress updates for management and clients

Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction

  • Experience with marine construction or heavy bridge/concrete structures

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel frequently and work on a rotating schedule

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
