HVAC BIM Detailer

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred in commercial mechanical and plumbing projects

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Position Responsibilities

• Perform file clean-up, title block and viewport setup

• Compile files for composite coordination

• Tagging and dimensioning of models and drawings

• Detail sections of mechanical and plumbing models

• Produce drawings and details that comply with design criteria, contract requirements, and applicable codes

• Coordinate mechanical and plumbing models with other trade professionals

• Maintain a strong safety mindset and promote safe work practices, particularly when on construction sites

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings as they relate to MEP installations

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

• Familiarity with applicable plumbing and mechanical codes, as well as safety regulations

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
