Position: Civil Litigation Attorney

About the Role
I am working directly with the owners of a defense-focused litigation firm that is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience handling complex civil defense matters, including personal injury defense, professional liability, healthcare-related disputes, construction, commercial litigation, and transportation matters. The Civil Litigation Attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution and work directly with clients in an active litigation practice.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Civil Litigation Attorney will draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery; take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses; coordinate with experts; attend hearings, mediations, and trials; and provide clients with strategic case analysis.

Qualified candidates must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and maintain an active license in good standing. The Civil Litigation Attorney must have 5+ years of civil defense litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to independently manage a full docket while meeting deadlines and billing expectations.
