Partner-Level Litigation Attorney 
📍 Northern Illinois (Remote) | Multi-State Practice

A well-established litigation practice is seeking a Partner-Level Litigation Attorney to lead and grow its Tort and Premises Liability practice in Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to step into an active caseload and work with longstanding national retail clients while operating with a high level of autonomy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys managing cases independently and working in a flexible, remote environment while being supported by an experienced team.

Practice Overview

The firm handles a wide range of tort and premises liability matters, including negligence claims involving major retailers and commercial properties. Cases range from complex product liability matters to straightforward slip-and-fall claims.

The practice operates across multiple jurisdictions with active work in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Manage tort and premises liability matters from inception through resolution
• Handle litigation strategy, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation
• Work independently while coordinating with a remote support team
• Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships
• Assist in developing additional litigation work through established networks

Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois (required)
• Experience handling tort, premises liability, product liability, or negligence litigation
• Strong background in state and federal court litigation preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work remotely
• Partner-level experience or senior litigation experience preferred
