A growing law firm known for its commitment to client success and legal excellence. They specialize in a variety of practice areas, including real estate and probate law. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Real Estate and Probate Litigation Counsel to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Real Estate and Probate Litigation Counsel will play a pivotal role in representing clients in complex real estate and probate disputes. You will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution, providing strategic legal advice, and ensuring clients’ interests are effectively represented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload involving real estate and probate litigation matters.
- Develop case strategies and counsel clients on legal rights and options.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare for hearings and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation or other dispute resolution processes.
- Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal case outcomes.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law affecting real estate and probate litigation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Florida.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate and probate litigation.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, probate law, and litigation procedures.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.
