A well established manufacturer of industrial automation and metal fabrication systems is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join its growing technical service team. Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits on machinery and automation equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams
  • Provide clear communication and support to customers while maintaining detailed service reports

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2–5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation within a manufacturing or automation environment.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Familiarity with PLC controls, robotics, and automation systems preferred.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Willingness to travel and work independently in a customer-facing role.
