gpac is partnered with a Multidisciplinary Engineering firm in the Greater Pittsburgh area that is looking to add a Land Surveyor to their team immediately due to company growth and career advancements.

  • Work a primarily remote work schedule - 1 day in office, 4 days at home

Land Surveyor Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying
  • PA Professional Land Surveyor License or LSIT certification required
  • 5+ years of relative work experience
  • Ability to perform various types of surveys such as construction staking, boundary, control, ALTA & topographic mapping surveys
  • Strong Civil3D and Trimble experience
  • Client relationship and Project Management experience is preferred, but not required

Land Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Writing proposals, project budgets, and marketing to clients
  • Scheduling survey crews and office staff
  • Performing control, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveying
  • Services related to transportation, civil site, and more types of projects. 
  • Compile and organize daily project field data
