Employment Attorney - Partner - Los AngelesSan Diego, San Francisco.

A highly respected mid-sized law firm—consistently ranked a Best Place to Work—is seeking experienced Employment Litigation Partners to join its teams in Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. Known for its collaborative culture and genuine focus on work-life balance, this firm offers an exceptional environment for seasoned litigators to thrive both professionally and personally. A portable book of business is welcome but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent employer clients in single-plaintiff employment litigation (court and arbitration)
  • Investigate claims and develop strategic approaches to defense
  • Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, and motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Handle responses to administrative charges
  • Appear at mediations, hearings, and trials/arbitrations as needed
  • Maintain regular client communication and case management

Qualifications:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active CA Bar license in good standing
  • Strong background in employment litigation
  • Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • A team player who thrives in a supportive, client-focused environment
  • Trial experience and/or wage & hour litigation a plus, but not required
