Job Title: Millwork Drafter – High-End Resident

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Mid-Senior (5+ years)

About Us: We are a premier provider of high-end residential millwork, known for our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and collaboration with top architects, designers, and contractors. Our projects span luxury custom homes, estate renovations, and bespoke cabinetry built to the highest standards.

We’re looking for a Millwork Drafter with strong AutoCAD skills and a passion for detail to join our team. Estimating experience is a plus and will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed and accurate shop drawings and fabrication documents using AutoCAD

  • Interpret architectural plans, millwork specs, and client requirements

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and shop floor teams to ensure clarity and accuracy of drawings

  • Create cut lists, material take-offs, and hardware schedules

  • Participate in design reviews and assist in value engineering where necessary

  • Support estimating efforts by preparing preliminary takeoffs and shop drawings as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of drafting experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or custom woodwork

  • Proficient in AutoCAD (required)

  • Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and woodworking practices

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and millwork details

  • Experience working on high-end residential projects preferred

  • Estimating experience or interest in supporting the estimating team is a plus

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
